underwhelming stay overall

dirty carpetbasic cleanliness
I wasn't happy with the room i got. the carpet had lots of stains and looked quite dirty. i told the hotel staff about it, and they said they would look into it, but it wasn't fixed . it's frustrating when you pay a lot and the basic cleanliness is not up to par. I expected better, though.

Convenient stay near tower bridge

The location was convenient with easy access to public transportation. I found several pubs and restaurants nearby. The savage rooftop bar offered panoramic city views. It was amazing under the full moon. I felt very welcome upon arrival.
This caused delays and inconvenience when traveling between floors.

the room had a nice tall window. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom was immaculate. Tea and biscuits were a nice extra amenity. The bed was very comfy, so i slept brilliantly.

breakfast each day was fresh and varied. The hotel's restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced meals with good service. I noticed they have early bird sessions and happy hour. I especially liked the little jars of tiptree jam.

access to the tube was ideal. Checking in and out was simple and quick. The checking out process, in particular, was quick because there is a return box. I could see the gherkin from the windows.
